Hyvän kirjan lukemisen vaaroja on että saattaa ajaa bussilla pysäkkinsä ohitse. Olen ottanut tavakseni taas kantaa kevyttä pokkaria laukussani metro- ja bussimatkojen viihdykkeeksi.

Or in other words: The danger of reading a good book is that one may miss one's buss stop.

Laite, jota ystävällisesti kutsun pömpeliksi, muutti meille sunnuntaina. Poikkis rakastaa ja hankkii aina kirpputorilta jänniä juttuja - mankelin (Kokkola, 2009) tai taskulampun muotoisen kattovalaisimen (Mauerpark, 2010).

Tämä on kuulemma teenkeitin. Teestä poikkis tykkää ehkä yhtä paljon kuin oudoista laitteistakin. Eikö olekin hieno, se säteili. Öö. Joo. Minne se menee?

Or in other words: Bf loves fleamarket finds. (He has a dream of renting a big caravan wagon and making a fleamarket roadtrip.) This thinggummy was his lates purchase. What is THAT, I asked, astonished. It's a tea maker, he beamed at me. Isn't it great? 


Yes. Erhm. Well. Sure. But where does it go?

Sushin tekeminen keittiössä ei ollut minun ideani - itse asiassa viimeiseen asti rukoilin, että mennään ulos syömään - mutta puuhastelu oli tosi kivaa. Terävät veitset eivät ole vitsi! 

Or in other words: Last Saturday we made sushi at our place. Lucky we have a big enough kitchen to fit all of our friends at the same time. Bf cleaned the house, went to the supermarket and set the table. We don't own enough sushi dishes for more than a few so we ended up with the Marimekko In Good Company plates with odds lent and filled with some anonymous cheap china. Come let's bend the rules amongst friends, nobody got punished for dropping their maki rolls in the soy cup (or I would have had a few!).
