Tämä loppuviikko on pikkujoulujen! Löysin pakkaillessani tanssikenkänikin. 

Minulla on kauhea tukka, joka kaipaa epätoivoisesti leikkaamista ja väriä. Mutta ajattelin säästää kampaajarahat lahjoihin ja ruokaan ja kammata otsiksen sivulle, pistää siihen pinnin ja laittaa paljettipaidan päälle. Kaikkien katsoessa paljetteja voivat hiukset olla vähän pitemmät niskasta, eikö?

Or in other words: This week's for Christmas parties! I want kisses & dances & friends & glitter! My hair doesn't quite groom okay: desperately it cries for a cut & some colour. But thought about saving the money from hairdressers to gifts for myself and food & drink, so I'll comb it pretty, put a pin on and hope everyone will look at my sparkly sequinned top instead of the little too long hair on the neck.

Parasta on, että saan viettää joulun perheeni kanssa. Toivon, että tänä jouluna saan jotain kaunista, jotain käytännöllistä ja jotain kimaltavaa sekä jotain hassua. 

Or in other words: Now that almost everyone have shopped their presents I can make my very own wishlist for Christmas. Best thing with being dumped: I get to spend the holidays with my own family.

Ihan oikeasti, ellei olisi pakko, en söisi mitään muuta kuin leivoksia. Eilen oli maanantai, mikä on hyvä syy nauttia kakkua, ja viikonloppuna on juhlat, joissa syödään lisää leivoksia. Leivoksia, leivoksia ja tanssia!

Or in other words: Que ne mange pas brioche? Cakes for yesterday, cakes for the weekend!

Or in other words: Changing clocks back coming weekend, I kind of wish I had one - a cute one. As my taste - like everything else around me - is in a continuos state of metamorphosis, it's a tricky pick. I want things to be simple and light, yet elegant and interesting & perhaps little quirky - but not too much.

Yesterday browsing I think I found it - the perfect wall clock to reflect my time! The pretty ceramic wall clock by Birgitte Due Madsen & Jonas Trampedach would gently remind of the time, I think, and not too loud or pressing.


Pity it's out of my price range at the moment!

Pitkän harmaan jakson jälkeen tunsin yllättävää optimismia. Pilalle menneelle ei voi enää mitään. Pakkaan tavarani ja siirryn eteenpäin. Tai taaksepäin. Tai otan pari askelta sivulle, ja sitten tuonne, ja toivon, että joskus olen kotona. 

Or in other words: After a long silence and much muddy waters, a sudden wave of optimism came. Certain things are ruined and, simple as that, can't be helped. I pack my things and go, onwards, or back a bit, or a little on the side - don't know yet, but somehow I hope I know when I get there.

Ostin matkaltani astioita yli kymmenen kiloa. Mutta toistaiseksi yli kymmenen lautasta ja muutama muu riisikulho matkustavat vielä merellä. Tämän yhden pienen pikkuruisen posliinilautasen ostin ja kiedoin vaatekappaleisiin matkalaukussani.  

Or in other words: I'm a huge fan of Japanese ceramics. I specially love the geometric patterns. I actually own a few, but on Tokyo's Kappabashi-dori I found ten more plates to complete my set (with a friction of the cost). 

But so far the plates and a few rice bowls are still on their journey in a parcel set in my home address. I stashed only this one tiny pretty plate in my luggage.
